How about some pictures on site here and maybe someone can help you.![]()
Hello,
I have a pistol mag a friend gave me; he received it with some other gun stuff from
his friend's family. His friend passed away; my friend knows nothing
about the mag. I'm sending you some pics. The mag had some 4 or 5 380 cal. cartage's
in it. It's a single stack mag.
I've asked everyone around gun friends, gun shows, gun shops and still no
luck. There aren't any proof marks on it. I haven't tried any Makarov
rounds, I think they'd fit. I'm not sure if 380 cal. and 9mm Kurtz are the same dimensions or not, I'll look into that as well. I've tried every brand of pistol that I could get my hands on(old and
new) with a bottom handle mag release. I measured and mic’ed (mm &
inch) the mag so that it might help identify it.I know there are 1000's of pistol from all over the world, I've web surfed, posted on gun forums, and still no luck.
This is a puzzle I haven't been able to solve. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I am not a Mak expert, but did just spend a weekend shooting my friends (600 rounds) the mag is not that long, and has a different config for a bulgy mak. Not what it is, but at least one not what it isn't.
Pics would be nice IMO. I had a Mauser Hsc once. .380/9mm kurtz Yes--bottom mag release.
I use to have a Bryco 48 (junk) and I found one of my old mags. If you look at the length difference were the mag catch is it tells me the mag on the right has a much longer/larger handle on the mystery mag
