    Opinions please!!

I am seriously considering trading my Witness Compact Polymer .45acp for a Sig 220 .45acp. I haven't had much experience with Sig's but i do know that they are great guns as are Witness'. I have a Zastava TZ99 9mm which is based on a Sig and love it. I like my Witness too and use it as a CCW. I think the Sig is a bit bigger and is all metal, but i think I can deal with that with the right holster. Before I start sounding like an idiot, how about some feed back on this. I want to make an informed decision. I plan on shooting the Sig before I make my final decision. I just want some outside input.

Why not keep the witness and save up for the Sig?

    Sig

My experience with Sig is limited, but quite positive. It is one of those major brands that you cannot really go wrong with. They make good guns. Good luck with your choice!

I had a Sig220 all stanless steel once. Probably the most accurate pistol I've ever owned (not sure if the P7M8 isn't as accurate but haven't shot it enough yet). The 220 was HEAVY but deadly. OldScot3 has a Witness 10mm and it's a great gun. Don't get rid of the Witness, just add the Sig.

My deal fell through, but I still have my Witness. Cant afford to add the Sig now and it will probably be gone when I can, btu that's how he cookie crumbles. Something else is bound to come along. BUT, if anyone wants to make a donation to my Sig Fund, you get the picture!

Buy the 10mm slide for the Witness (they are supposed to interchange) and find out what REAL power is!!!!
