What do you think feels better in your hand? That's what you should get. Go with your gut feeling.

Personally, Hks are awesome weapons but I wouldn't spend more than $500 on polymer. But if you're going for the Hk, try to find one at a reasonable price.

Also, I'd test them out before you put in the cash.

HK is worth it though, the engineering, fit and finish etc are way above the other polymer pistols on the market. You do have to understand that it's a gun made in Germany which comes with a price anyway.

Obviously money is not the issue in this question, so I would go with what feels better in your hand. The sig226 fit mine like no other gun I tried. Maybe rent them, and try them all before deciding. I also believe there are some safety differences in these guns that was another reason I chose a sig over HK.

The particular HK in question has a manual safety while I'm unaware of any sig that has this option. If you prefer DA/SA no safety then the SIG fits, although I believe the HK can be decocked much the same. Not 100%...need to research each one's features and if you can, hold and shoot them.
