    bedside lockbox

    sorry didn't know where to post this question. anyway can someone recomend a good bedside lock box thats secure but quick to access when needed, and nothing over $100. thanks

    That would be a great option. They also have one that holds two handguns that doesn't cost much more.

    I have this miniVault and it only takes seconds to grab my Glock.


    I got it on sale for around $80.

    I've got an Amsec box (American Security) and it works great, opens in a flash. Enough room to store two guns and some cash, jewelry. Mine is a mechanical model, not electronic. Very similar to this one ($125 but it's got the S&W logo on it, bet you could find it for less without):

    They make electronic models as well. Just google "amsec gun box".

    What I particularly like about it is that it is a top opening box. Since I keep it under my bed when I sleep, when I reach down, pull it out and enter the combo I can then swing the door up and it makes grabbing my guns very easy from that position and angle.

    i have the mini vault also
    you can do the combo in the dark also to get to the gun

    Yeah, same with the Amsec box. The raised buttons make it real easy to operate in total darkness.
