I watched that movie the other day and was wondering the same thing. I don't think the picture does it justice (from what I remember it was well made looking).
I just finished watching the movie War (Jet Li and Jason Statham) and I can not figure out what was the chrome semi-auto that Shiro's daughter had. It has has a weird point on the back of the slide.
Yes I know it IS a movie, but they surely did not make a special firearm for this one short clip.

I was wondering the same thing when I watched that movie a few weeks ago, but failed to ask. I was just curious as it looked pretty cool.

That's the obsolete old COP "derringer," a four-barreled abomination with a 20-pound DA trigger. http://www.kitsune.addr.com/Firearms...ls/COP_357.jpg

Now I remember it. Isn't that also in the end of one of the Bad Boys movies with Will Smith? The BG takes it out of his sock or something on the runway right before Will shoots him when he sees a light reflection. Cool cars too, a Shelby Cobra and Porsche if I remember correctly. Thanks for the info as always Mike

File the following under "movie geek with too much information":
It's actually not unheard of to use a "fake" gun in a movie. Check out this link and read about the "glock" prop they used in a very brief shooting scene in the Sopranos.

I know Robert Rodriguez uses rubber molds of guns in some of his movies and just digitally adds the muzzle flashes and ejecting shells in post production. It took Antonio Banderas a few takes before he stopped making "Pa-Choo, pa-choo" sounds with his mouth for "Once Upon a Time in Mexico".![]()
Wasn't that gun also used in the third installment of the Matrix? The Marovingian's Girlfriend caps a Vampire guy with it with silver bullets.

Yes they used that gun in the Matrix sequel as well as in Blade Runner When Leon shoots Holden.
