I have to agree. It seems like a good idea, but I would want nothing to do with it.

Well I think it's cool, you don't see too many actually 'new' designs out there these days. JMB has made many excellent designs but everyone has been copying off of him since. It's nice to see people thinking of other ways to launch a bullet.

Alas, new designs don't become popular just based on novelty. Look at how the excellent HKP7 has fared, and it is a much more useful "new" design than this Boberg contraption.

The exception to this rule is the Desert Eagle, which has giant appeal to mall ninjas and video gamers the world over.

If it shoots well and doesn't malfunction, it could be very successful. It is innovative but.............."more stuff inside" could mean more problems...........or not. It does look pretty cool (although it does look heavy). If it's cheap (did I miss the price?), buy one or two and keep 'em for 50 yrs.
