Id keep it. Its not costing you anything, and it never hurts to have another gun around.
The only pistol I have right now is a Sauer Model 1913, chambered in .32 ACP. It's sort of a family heirloom, but I have no sentimental attachment to it. I know a 9MM would be much more useful, and I don't think .32 ACP is appropriate as a SD round.
This link is a decent overview of the Sauer Model 1913.
The biggest advantage is that this pistol has no paperwork whatsoever.
Should I keep it in case the gun-grabbers ever come, or should I sell it and use the proceeds to finanace better self-protection?
Id keep it. Its not costing you anything, and it never hurts to have another gun around.
I agree that you should keep it. I inherited an old Ortigies in 7.65mm (.32acp). I enjoy shooting the gun but it certainly is not counted upon for primary defense purposes. Your gun, like mine, is old and not everybody will have one. Make it a conversation piece and have fun with it.
Keep it; you'll eventually be sorry if you sell it.
Just curious - what paperwork do you think you need?
I don't want any paperwork on my guns. I don't believe there should be any paperwork on my guns. I prefer no one know what weapons I have for personal safety, including the government. That's one of the reasons I like this pistol and lean toward keeping it, even though it's not a very effective caliber.
keep it
it will only go up in value!!
keep it...
If you have no real reason to keep it then sell it and buy a real gun.
Keep it, it didn't cost you anything and add something to go along with it. Also, as stated above, it may go up in value.
