I just aquired a 1911 with a Kart 22 conversion on it at a local gun show. When I contacted Kart to obtain instructions, I was told based on the serial number of the slide, the gun once belonged to a shooter and gunsmith named Dick Crawford. I must confess to ignorance. Can anyone tell me anything? The fellow at Kart spoke of him as though I should Know the name. If there is any contact info to Mr Crawford, I'd like to find out what other modifications were made to the gun. It sure looks and feels nice! I'm still waiting for a warm day in South Dakota to shoot it!
