I picked up my XD45 tactical about 2 weeks ago. I shot both the 4" and 5" versions at a local gun shop before deciding on the full size, it was just a little easier for me to shoot tighter groups with the 5" barrel. But if I was to do it over again & had to throw "concealability" into the mix, I'd have gone with a 4" in .45acp or 3" in 9mm or .40
