I ALWAYS use a pocket holster, specifically a Galco Pocket Protector. Pocket holsters cover the trigger for safety, and keep the gun properly oriented for the draw.
Those that carry in thier front pocket...do use a pocket holster? or just let it ride? Thank you for any info.

Yep, always a holster. In my case, a self made Kydex.

I carry in a holster about 85% of the time but I do have one pair of jeans and two pair of shorts where the pockets are small. I just due without the holster then. It's no big deal as I take it apart every two weeks and clean the dust bunnies out of it.
I carry my P3AT in a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster. The outside of the holster is a bit tacky and grips the pocket lining so only the gun comes out of your pocket.
I carry my S&W J-frames in either an Uncle Mike's or a Mika pocket holster depending on which gun I carry.. For my Glock 26 I go with a FIST leather pocket holster. I want security for that light Glock trigger.
I always carry in a holster. I have tried several, and so far, I prefer the DeSantis GunHide Pocket Holster.

I have a Don Hume front pocket holster that I really like. It is top quality, well made, and at a reasonable price.
