I carried a Walther P99 as a primary and my Kahr PM9 as a BUG? Is the PM9 too big to be a BUG? Maybe putting the P99 in the normal 4-5 o'clock OWB and having the PM9 around the 10-11 o'clock position IWB. Is that too much on the belt? I need to buy the P99 first though(I'm thinking my next birthday). I despise ankle holsters though, I haven't tried any pocket holsters yet, they might be worth looking into. Comments? don't flame my thinking too hard guys.

Dude, I grew up in Groton. It's not THAT bad. ;-)

I don't know if it's "mall ninja" so much as an unrealistic assessment of the threat level. There's a school of thought that says "if you need one gun, you probably need two." I don't subscribe to this school of thought myself. The chances of Joe Sixpack needing one gun are very, very slim. The chances of him needing two are practically nonexistent, absent some serious threat.

That said, when I lived in Connecticut, I sometimes carried two guns in the winter months. This was because my big gun was trapped under my buttoned/zipped heavy coat, and very slow to access. So I stuck a J-frame revolver in my coat pocket.

I like pocket holsters for BUGs, and that's how I carry my P3AT on the very rare occasions I carry two guns (as when going to South Phoenix).

I would call you a M-N if you dressed the part, but what you carry concealed within your garments should be of no concern to me or anyone else. Therefore, I wouldn't call you a M-N just because you carry two pistols.

Paranoid, perhaps -- but not a mall-ninja....

Personally, if I were to carry a P99 or other reliable hi-cap pistol, I would prefer to carry the extra weight of 15 rounds in a second mag, rather than the weight of seven or eight rounds in a PM9. I'm not bashing the PM's, as I love mine. Just ran a box through it earlier today in fact. To be honest though, if I carried a P99 concealed, I wouldn't carry anything extra. After all, if I can't get the job done with 16 rounds of +P, another seven or fifteen isn't going to help me......

Yep! I would call you a mall ninja. However I carry a Sig p229 or Beretta px4 with an NAA Guardian in my front right pocket, a lock back knife in my back right pocket, swiss champ knife in my front left pocket, a cigar cutter, a pocket knife sharpener, a tube of Chapstick, a lighter, breath mints, and my wallet. Often I even carry a spare mag for my main carry gun, and in the winter when I go out at night with the family I even put a small flashlight in my jacket pocket. So if your a mall ninja I must be the grand master.
Do what makes you comfortable. No one has the right to tell you should not carry a bug or any other gadgets that make you comfortable.:smt023

:smt070:smt068:duel::smt067 Oh Master! Teach me to snatch that pebble out of your hand.

Seriously, I would rather carry a spare mag than another gun but then I also own a KTP3AT and a Glock 23. I haven't carried 'em both at the same time...yet.

I'm going to California on business later this month and if I were legal I certainly would carry both then.

No prob w/ a BUG...

If you were decked out in 5.11 Tactical gear head to toe, wearing combat boots in July, had the crown of your hat in a DI "pinch", and kicked small dogs out of your way... yeah.

But like above, I'd go for weak-side pocket carry w/ the PM9.

Hello, my name is Bill and I am a Mall Ninja.
Is been 4 days since I carried my H&K USP full size .45 (it was casual day at work).

As a recovering Mall Ninja, I don’t think that one little thing qualifies. You would have to do something like add a couple of knives, with at least one being an auto opener (mine is a Micro Tec), a flashlight, a couple of spare mags, a multi tool, a spare mag for the bug and a 5-11 vest or field jacket on occasion.
