rdaggett: good choice; across the country the prices are jumping all around. Good choice from 'Buds'
My research; which has been rather intense; The SR9 will serve you well.
Thinner than a standard with the same capacity as most.
My intent is to have one; re-read some of the articles which have been posted. The trigger seems to be the only issue from the 'tough' RugerForum.com. Seems the trigger starts coming in after approx. 400rds.
Sir; good choice.
follow along with your experiences. Once I adopt mine we can compare
Well now I am in a bind .... I found a place I can get the ruger P95DC stainless for less than $300 shipped ....... If I get that then I can afford to get the Walther p22 too :P man is the bug bitting now .......
rdaggette: Sir; saw your query at Ruger forum. Sir; it is tough.
How about this. GET BOTH
Compare physically the two. Feel them out. consensus for the P95 DC
highly regarded. For a new model consensus SR9 highly regarded.
P95 is basically off the market? [stand to be corrected] double checked [out of production] SR9 is new and for the next few years it will gain a much greater following.
Sir; historically Ruger has great value for the product. Would I question $400.00 vs. $300.00 I definitely would consider all aspects. SR9 a 'striker' fired unit. P95 DC hammer fired. What is the difference? Individuals choice.
Follow up with your thinking.
