    Old .44 Auto-Mag Pic

    Here's an "action" pic of me shooting my .44 Auto-Mag pistol from 1977. The pic was a promo shot for an indoor range in Anchorage, Alaska, and was supposed to show that the backstop, which was angled half inch armor plate over a water trap, would safely contain magnum handgun rounds. It did, at least this one time. But the range never did get off the ground, mainly because the owner didn't know what the hell he was doing.

    Bet that puppy packed a punch. Be good to have if you was up against a grizz.
