Which night sights would be best for my glock 23 and my Springfield XD-45 and about how much would it cost to get them installed?? I'm also looking into getting my Kimber Ultra Carry II next week and wondering if I should just get them with night sights or with the standard sights they come with?
Well, some places over the net install them for free, if U send your slide to them, and buy the sights from them. But, then ya usually have to pay shipping both ways. Its not too bad on only the slide, though. But, I prefer to just buy the sights and have a local guy put it on. That's typically $20 in my area.
I like that because if they end up being slightly off, U can go back later and they would adjust it for free (since they are the ones who put them on).
As for which brand - some people like trijicon. Some people like meprolight. I personally like meprolight. They are usually a little bit cheaper too. Is there a shop near U that carries both, so U can look at each and see whick U like better?
I prefer Trijicon or Mepros. The firsights are junk IMO. MMC makes some excellent heavy duty, combat, adjustabe night sights
I like Trijicon. I got them installed on my 1911 for under $100
I know it's unusual, since everyone loves Trijicon, but I actually prefer Meprolights. The sight picture with the Mepros just seems blockier and easier to acquire, at least for my eyes.
Here in AZ, Mepros installed on a Glock run about $70.
Someone's going to make fun of me, but I like the Tru Glo brite sights with the tritium. Of course, being on a fairly dark range most of the time and not having the best eye sight in the world (or rather, having moody eyes), they are helpful all the way around. I haven't gotten them installed on my Sig yet, but plan to eventually. My one boss got them put on his Sig and he showed it to me. Love them.

i actually like truglo because after the night sight's "night usefulness" has passed, they are great to keep for the daytime.
can anyone suggest the best night sights for Walther P99???
