How do ya'll remove the remnants of the case when a case head blows off?
After going to a gunmsith several times, I learned this trick: Remove the barrel or cylinder from the gun. Use a tap that will just enter the case, using a tap wrench. Turn it a quarter turn or so until it bites into the brass, then gently pull out the case.
A 7/16" 7/16-14NC thread works for the .45 ACP. I think 3/8" works for the 9mm. These can be bought at the local hardware store.
