Trigger LENGTHENING

Has anybody seen gunsmithing mods that can actually increase the reach to a trigger, other than a larger backstrap??? I'm having trouble getting too much finger on the trigger (into the first joint and beyond) with my long fingers. I know a 1911 can be adjusted simply for "reach" due to the design on the trigger, but I'm taking about striker guns, like XD/Glock/M&P.

The reach to the mag release, and slide release are fine... but the trigger face is too close for easy finger placement, on the first pad.

Ideas?

If your XDs didn't have that silly grip safety, you could just build up the backstrap to increase trigger reach.

Advantage: Glock. :mrgreen:

But I want to increase trigger reach without also increasing magazine release and slide release reach... Maybe I just have long fingers, and short thumbs...
