Thread: Ugg... I hate being sick

I was sick for most of last week. Nasty head cold with post nasal drip. I feel your pain.

I got the 24 hour thing about 3 weeks ago. I could not hold down a cracker. It will pass

Well, I have asthma and allergies, so I went to my allergy doctor a little while ago (quite often if I wait, I get asthma issues). They have a cool thing where U blow your nose in plastic, and then they do a test and tell U if its bacteria, allergies or virus. He's the only doctor I've ever been to with this.

Anyway - 75% of my problem is from allergies (probably from the bad cedar in the area) and 25% from a virus.

He gave me a cortesone shot. So, w/i 24 hours, I should be better.

I went ahead and went since I was off, because otherwise I'd have tow ait until Tue if I felt worse.

When I feel a cold coming on I pop some Zicam. It's like eating a candle but I works for me in getting rid of what ever I was getting.

Keep pumping in the Zicam. Hopefully it kicks it before it kicks you.
