    Wow, that was a close one!

    Lap dances safe after vote in Seattle

    Voters overwhelmingly rejected a measure that would have required dancers to stay four feet away from patrons. It also would have required bright lights in strip clubs and prohibited customers from giving money directly to strippers.

    The vote was 63 percent to 37 percent.

    The restrictions were part of an effort by the city to dissuade new strip clubs from opening after a federal judge struck down a moratorium.

    Thinking back to the few lap dances I had while in the Air Force many years ago I'd say this may not have been a bad idea at the time. Skank city! One fell out of da ugly tree and not only hit every branch on the way down but buried herself in the root system.

    I don't think I've ever been to a titty bar in Seattle. Those sure would have cut into the girls' income.

    I've only been through Seattle once in my life, enroute to the PI to a forward deployed ship. Of course that was before Seattle became a Left Winged infested city (1983)
