Kewl... We can use more P99s being spread out throught the land
Were they A/S models![]()
I was talking about you today! LOL! They marched out our new and very rare shipment of P99s today. They got fondled repeatedly and will probably press charges, but in the conversation I was telling my co-workers about the finish on yours. I think we may have some guest visitors here looking for the pictures.![]()

Yes, they were. And truth be told, if I had $613 to spend I would have brought home the 9mm today. Sweet little thing!
Yes, they are sweet. That is kinda high, though.
At gun shows, I have seen P99s as low as $515. And, at the Houston Gander Mountain, I've seen them as high as $639.
I paid $515 for my compact last year when they were on closeout (in the Fall of 2005, they stopped importing the A/S, but then started again this spring). And, my fullsize was somewhere around $565. I think anything over $600 is way to expensive for a P99.
But, glad ya like it![]()
I will have one some day. It is such a sweet feeling gun, and the one I shot months ago was just perfection. I'm sure these two sweeties will be gone within a week.
After I ordered mine, my local shop decided to order 2 more, to see if there was any interest. But, the silly man ordered the QA trigger. Took some time for him to sell both the 9mm one and the one in 40. It is the A/S that is sweet
Now, they have a SW990L down there - the Smith version of the QA.
I have a SW99, the Smith version of the A/S. It is a nice gun. Too bad S&W discontinued the SW99 at the end of 2005.
