I am always jealous of those guys on Youtube who have their like smoking girlfriends go with them (and are actually interested in it). My brothers gf doesn't mind it. My last ex-gf used to go occasionally. I at the very least have my twin, so that is good.
The first time I went shooting was with my grandfather, he was a huge shotgun guy. We used to hunt and skeet shoot. Nowadays after my
So there it is. Who do you guys go shooting with? If you have no one then maybe say why? Sometimes shooting alone is peaceful... though I have yet to try it frequently, though could be theraputic lol
When I was younger, my wife liked to go shooting. Now a few decades downstream and she would rather stay home. As luck would have it, my brother has become interested in collecting guns and going to the range. So I have a shooting buddy. Most of the other friends I once had as shooting buddies have moved away or passed away. Age will always take it's tole but it hasn't quite found me yet.
Jean and I always shoot together, particularly since I'm still teaching her the nuances of self-defense pistolcraft.
I wish that we had enough room for riflery, so I could teach her that as well. But on a small island, there just isn't anywhere to put a 300- or 600-yard rifle range. And ferrying over to the mainland, and driving to a National Forest, once a week is just too darn expensive.
For a 70-something, Jean is still pretty smokin' hot. Does that count, Jake?
Going solo for now. That's why I'm looking to join a gun club with a range on site that hosts USPSA and IDPA comp. Going alone to the range I cant help me correct my form.
I go with my dad and his buddies. I also have some buddies that would stop what they were doing and go shooting anytime. We all love it. I hope I can find a girl who isn't afraid and knows how to use a pistol or is willing to learn. I think many of us agree that a gun toting woman is sexy.
My wife is my shooting buddy. She's willing to go anytime. Matter of fact she's the one who suggested we go at least once a week. Standing date now -- Whoever pays for shooting gets treated to dinner.
My wife shoots, we used to go and shoot together often. Now days unless we're attending a class together we have to split shooting trips. Hard to find sitters for the weekend. Hopefully now that the kids are getting older we can start to shoot together more often.
I also have a couple of shooting buddies from IDPA and we get together for some practice sessions and travel together for state matches etc.
Haha yeah in my area public shooting range is filled with a wide variety of people. You see the occasional person that makes gun owners look really bad.
