I am from Michigan and i was wondering what happens if you bought a hand gun and didnt turn in the sales record for one reason or another and didn't notice till a couple years later when you open the box. What would i have to do to get it registered without a to much of a hitch.
First question is this. Does Michigan require registration of firearms? You really need to verify this before taking the next step. I do believe that Michigan does require a license to purchase and possess and may also require handguns to be registered.

yes i have a ccw and i bought my gun and i asked my dad to turn it in when he takes his in for his new gun and i moved to IL. to go to school and left it here. and i have not opened the box sence and i just moved into my new house opened it and seen that it never got turned in.
you talking if the gov. knows i have it they will take it if shit hits the fan in America?
