    A disarm technique

I am by no means a martial art practicioner but have come across a technique that works for me.I found this on youtube and practiced bymyself at first then on my son,and only told him to try and rob me and dont hesitate pulling the trigger(emptied and both of us safety checked it).It is by Pallidan press and it just seemed to make sense with my background in hand to hand.Be careful as you can break someones finger in practice. And I did this in a wheelchair.I thought it was a good item for the toolbox.

For the love of God and all that is holy... BUY A BLUE GUN OR AN AIRSOFT GUN!!!! Please,DO NOT use an actual gun regardless of how many times you safety check it!

Yes,that is why I carry but you cant be on point all the time.I wouldnt try saying all the what if's as I dont worry about them.In my case I like being able to defend myself with anything and everything.I said somewhere else about 2 recent instances of defending myself against younger men.I was living with a women and her 2 adult kids. They had a friend come over and he was intoxicated and attacked me.Wont get into the long version.I could have shot him but I slammed my prosthetic leg fiberglass socket first into his jaw and then pounded him with it.By being in a wheelchair mostly you lose alot of SA and could be surprised such as loading groceries or putting my chair in the car.
The way I see it that by worrying or being on point all the time you lost the battle and are no longer living.I enjoy weapons as a sport and like being able to take care of myself.By me trying to stay fit I might as well do something that has a multirole outcome.I would never tell someone to do somthing like I train but I know what my skill level is.My concern is breaking my sons finger as I was a lil too aggresive
