I believe the Dragon is actually the last 11 miles coming up from the Tennessee side. It's mighty twisty. Personally, I prefer NC 28 over on the Carolina side, because I like medium speed sweepers better than the technical stuff. Southern Appalachia is just full of great bike roads like that!

Nice car. There have been too many killed on that road, mostly those on motorcycles.
It is a very dangerous road, and we don't want to read about your death. Be VERY careful there.
Yeah I enjoy 28 on the way too, definitely. I actually had a friend killed on that road on a crotch rocket a few years back. I am careful, I promise. There's no way I would be brave enough to go up there on a bike.
