    Should students be taught how to use guns? Poll help requested

    Hiya everyone,

    A local poll (to me in Australia) is currently asking: Should students be taught how to use guns?

    My answer is YES. An armed society is a polite society. Would you not teach them to fish? Would you not teach them to cook because knives are involved?

    Hunter's Education (with guns!) is mandatory here in Middle School. Kids can opt out, since it's not for everyone. But you have to request out, not beg to get in like some places.
