Thread: What did you get for Christmas?

My wife bought me an Amazon Kindle. I was skeptical at first, especially when it failed to function out of the box. But, we eventually got it working with a reboot. They are pretty cool. There are a lot of free E-books out there. It ain't an iPad, but it does what it does rather well. Now I have no excuse for not reading some of the classics.

Mrs. Bisley and I picked out our own this year. I bought myself a Marlin bolt action .22 with a tubular magazine (mainly for shooting CB's and sub-sonics) and a Nikon 4x32 scope for it.

Mrs. Bisley was also generous enough to buy me a bottle of Glenlivet 18 year old single malt scotch, which added a very pleasant glow to my Christmas evening, after all the family and friends departed. I'm not a big drinker, but I do enjoy a very fine sipping whiskey, neat, on special occasions. I'll make this last till next Christmas, if I can.

I got 3 USMC tee shirts and a lump of coal. It was more than I deserved (the coal really put her over the top). LOL

I got a new blackhawk holster, spinning target for all of my guns to shoot at, and a pretty nice set of screw drivers.

I got this kit and a receiver blank. Sending it off in February to have it built up into a semi auto MP5.
Should be a fun little gun.
