Where were you when the world stopped turning?

This is the video of Alan Jackson's song,"Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning. There is another video on the same page as this, it is much more graphic. A.J. wrote this song after 9-11. YouTube - Alan Jackson - Where Were You (Live Video)

I lived across the bay in Laurence Harbor N.J., you could see the plume for days and the acrid smell that came from it. When I walked my rottie on the beach that was the only thing you could see, the towers I'm talking about. It always caught my eye. That and the sunrises. It stood out above everything, almost majestic looking.
After 9-11 it was all gone and I didn't care much about the sunrises either. A year later my wife and I moved 50 miles south. That sure turn things upside down.

Oh believe me none was taken -

I think I know exactly what you meant -

It's hard to hear - it brings back some good, and some bad memories

No disrespect felt on my part.

Oh man, that makes me feel a whole lot better. When I read your response it hit me, that police & fire dept. funerals always have bagpipers especially over my way. I thought Frank you just pee'd off a lot of people. Sometimes I need to think and choose my words more eliquently. Thanks Don.

No Frank - I know your posts well enough to know you'd never do that.

You are a good hand gun forum member.
