    Christmas Movies

Saw the new version of A Christmas Carol last week. It was great and the 3D effect was what I had always wished for when watching the old 3D movies with the funky red/blue glasses.

I don't think anything will replace my favorites.

A Christmas Carol (1984), starring George C. Scott
    Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964)
    A Christmas Story (1983)
    It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)
Trading Places (1983) not really a Christmas movie, but the story takes place at Christmas

National Lampoon Christmas Vacation is at the top of my list. Our family has it playing (on repeat) every year on Christmas day. I think my stepdad is actually dressing up as Eddie this year, dickie and all!!

I found the glass Moose Mugs and bought him two sets. They look just like the ones in the movie.

Christmas Vacation is my favorite, followed by A Christmas Story. Other tops are Rudolph and The Grinch. Then there's the classic of It's A Wonderful Life. The kids are into the Polar Express.

All the previously mentioned movies are on my list along with the 1/2 hour "Mickey's Christmas Carol" from 1983.
