    Missing posts?

hmmmm, Made a few posts here yesterday, they were here last night and now they're gone. They were in the Ruger area. Just curious as to why as I didn't get any PM indicating the whos, whats or whys.

They may not have been intentionally deleted.
The forum went off line unexpectedly yesterday. And it may have lost some posts in the process.
I would not be surprised if others lost posts as well.
The forum was not down for long, so far as I know. But where computers are concerned it only takes a second to lose a weeks worth of work.
    Or posts.

A post has to be pretty bad before it's deleted around here. Most the time flame posts just get a thread closed.
So I'm gonna agree with the above post and say it was probably a problem wit the server and posts were lost that were not saved yet or the tables corrupted somehow and data was lost.

no post or threads have been deleted as far as I know... they may have been moved to a different area by one of the mods.

Wasn't me. I was hardly on here at all yesterday and I'm sure I didn't move or delete any posts.

    Not me.

FWIW, this could have been handled with a PM to the staff. If posts were bad enough to be deleted, we wouldn't be discussing them in open forum. That would be a private issue between the staff and member.

Ok, Well it was a simple response to anothers inquiry and nothing negative at all in it. Went on the open forum to ask ather than via a PM because I recieved no notification which I'd think would be the norm should a deletion occur purposely.
