A couple friends and I drove to Raleigh the other day for an advertised gun show at the State fairgrounds. There are several venues there, so there were several different activities going on, Greek festival, flea market, etc. Oh and a military collectibles show. NOT a gun show as promoted. One of the ticket sellers said that would have been the responsibility of the collectibles promoter.
I don't know who's responsible, but it was a waste of time for me, promoted on a generic gun show calendar, incorrectly attributed to Dixie gun shows. If I can find an address, someone's getting a nasty note from me.

In order to be fair, I edited the post. I could not find the calendar again, and had problems finding the fairgrounds site. I'd have gone there instead for information. It was something to do, and I needed a few accessories for my 500. Oh well. I did end up at Carthage and picked up a new toy. I was looking for a small 9mm to carry hidden and ended up with a Kel Tec 380. From now on, I'm only spending $ with my LGS. Carthage is a pretty friendly place.
