    Nightline

Ok, so Nightline just did a story about Barry and gun control. Anyone else watch it? Thoughts?

Missed it. I'm going to guess he said he was pro gun ownership and also said he felt it was reasonable for states and cities to make their own gun laws.

I watched it and it was not bad. I think it showed both sides of the issue well, and even some of the pro-gun voices, including the owner of Cheaper Than Dirt seemed to doubt that there were any major gun control on its way. He did seem very happy with the panic mode so many gun owners are in because it is great for business. One of the people interviewed was a gun law expert who stated that he did not think the Democrats or Obama would mess with guns at least not during a first term.

Of course they did manage to show some less than articulate gun owners freaking out. That is always great for the rest of us.

    Nothing new about O.

The law prof they talked to says he doesn't know what kind of restrictive legislation that congress can pass because of the Heller decision. Duh! How bout they just tax guns and ammo till no one can afford to buy 'em, or a new AWB that covers more types and doesn't sunset. The later is certainly what everyone buying out shops are worried about.

edit: The more I think about this story, the more it seems like O propaganda. "Don't worry. I don't want your guns." Why are they all panicking, congress can't take away their guns, etc..

Well you wouldn't want the liberal, anti-gun media actually finding an intelligent, well articulated gun owner, now would you? That would destroy the stereotype they have worked so hard on.

No, of course not. That would not be fair at all.
