Thread: Hurricane Ike

Sounds like you did alright. I grew up in Miami and have been through a few but nothing like what we've seen lately. Being a kid at the time it was all just a whole lot of fun. Funny how your perspective changes. Don't get no harrycanes here in the rockies but I've moved a lot of snow over the years.

for everyone effected by ike my prayers go out to you. I'm in calhoun co north of port o connor and we dodged the bullet this time and probably won't the next time. I hope all is well and everything gets back to normal for everyone very soon.

Yep, live in The Woodlands and the area I live in got hammered pretty hard. Fortunately, no damage at my house. Lost power on Friday night and got it back on Wednesday. The rest of my subdivision didn't get it back until Friday though. We were lucky. Glad you got through it with no damage.
