    Silver Bullets

    I bought some Winchester silver tip bullets for me 10mm, mostly because the shop was out of Double Tap...I didn't know they actually made silver bullets...does anyone know why they use silver? Is it actually silver or is it a marketing thing? I mean aside from the odd werewolf that I run into from time to time I can't see why I would need these instead or a copper jacket.

    It's just a wash over a regular copper jacket, for marketing purposes. No effect on bullet performance.

    10mm Silvertip worked well for one armed citizen in the Pacific Northwest. He came to the aid of an embattled cop, and put down a bad guy by emptying the contents of his Delta Elite into him. Needless to say, the bad guy was DRT.

    Can't have too much insurance. A touch of silver will handle those werewolves if they exist and if not they sound great.
