Nobody can help a brother out?
-Jeff-![]()
Hello everyone, I'm looking for some help regarding the current value of a knife that I own. I can't take pictures because I left my camera in Iowa and I'm in Illinois until SundaySurely someone knows the knife I'm talking about though, I just can't find much about it online and can't even find my exact knife. The model I'm talking about is a Gerber Mark I WITH the black blade. The few pictures that I have even found online were not with the black blade. I was hoping someone with more knowledge about knives could help me out a little bit here. The main ones that are around including knowledge about them are, for the majority, the Mark II, not the Mark I. This knife has been sitting in a display case that I made years ago and is in great shape. I have the box and sheeth that came with it as well. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry bro. I know nut'n about it.
Just starting to get interested in edged weapons, so I wouldn't have a clue. There are some very knowledgable guys here, but to paraphrase and old quote "Don't bring a knife question to a gun forum".J/K
You might try one of these:
http://knifeforums.com/forums/fusionbb.php? or http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/
Hope this helps.
Here's something I found, maybe this helps a little:

Thanks for the info, that site hadn't come up in my searches. That's interesting, I just wonder if the black blade makes a difference. I also have another knife that has just been sitting for years that I can't seem to find too much information about. It's a Benchmade Bali-Song Model 45 Butterfly Knife. I also have the box, sheath and manual for that one as well. Pretty interesting to see how much these are worth. Anyone have any information about that Butterfly Knife? I didn't realize they were worth that much, but It seems like it's over $100 for those benchmades. Any info is appreciated as always!

You may also want to check out http://usualsuspect.net/ Those people are crazy into knives there and very much not snobbish. I stopped hanging out there because I had nothing to offer, but if anyone can answer your questions, they surely can.
