    beretta tomcat

need some advice, I have a beretta tomcat that has an issue. every 40 or so rounds, the last fired shell casing does not eject from the barrel. In turn the next round feeding in causes a malfunction, that is very difficult to clear. The gun is clean. I've used different brands of ammo and the pattern is reocurring. it seems that the shell casing swells up just enough not to eject. In a personal deaafense situation this would not be good. Any ideas????

    Thanks.

Yes: Sell the Tomcat, and buy a better self-defense gun.

Have to go with Steve on this one. I had two Tomcats at one time, but had to trade them off. One was fine, but the other would "throw" the slide right off the grip frame! Got a cut lip the first time it happened.
