    Safety on FN9P DA/SA

    Can someone tell me what type safety there is on this gun. thanks

    It uses a frame mounted de-cocker.

    No safety, just a decocker. The hammer is held off the firing pin by the sear when decocked. It also has an internal firing pin safety that blocks the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled back fully.

    The current models just have a decocker, but apparently the new FNP USG models will have a manual safety as well as the decocker.

    I just bought a FDE FNP9 and it has safety/fire/decock.
