      Just got the FNS-9C

Hey guys, I just picked up my FNS-9C with, "NO MANUAL SAFETY" last night at "Eagle1" in Raleigh NC. $499.99 plus tax. What a tough, stout looking little gun this is!

This is my 2nd FNH pistol, and the quality is incredible. Very chunky looking gun. It really looks as if it is ready to go in to battle.

I will post a few pictures later when I get home. I have not shot it yet. But, I picked up some FMJ 9mm ammo, and some Speer gold dot 124gr +p.

So, I will shoot in the backyard out to 25 yards, and 50 yards when I get home today.

There is no comparison between this pistol and a Ruger SR9C Ive seen a lot of people comparing them. And it looked like the quality control was really bad on the SR9C. Like pot metal slide rails, and a really notchy gritty trigger. The FNS-9C trigger is quite smooth and breaks right at 6lbs.

I handled so many Ruger automatics, and the pistols just look and feel like toys. The wheel guns are a different story though. Am I the only person to experience this? I have never seen this type of toy like feel in other guns like Glock, Sig, FNH, HK, kahr, etc. etc. smith Wesson, springfield.

Anyways, anyone on the fence about buying one of these. You will not be disappointed very nicely built pistol! Feels good in the hand most of all! 3 mags, and tough as nails. The trigger feels very different than my FNS-40 4" barrel. The trigger feels kinda similar to a HK VP9 to me. just a little heavier, and very smooth!

I have one as well. It is the most accurate 9mm I own very nice trigger. The 3 magazines are a bonus in these days of 1 magazine new gun purchases. Feels good in the hand only wish they would make a single stack like the Ruger LSC9 pro or Glock 43.
Why are pictures important? Go to FN's web site and see professional made pictures. Grow up.

Hey pal, what do you like about them, specifically? They look like most others of similar type striker fired handguns to my eyes. One nice thing is the brand, IMO. FN has always made superb firearms. That FN logo is on the butt of my first good shotgun. I finally gave it to my son in law last summer.

HI, it's my 1st post on the forum. I have the FNS 9c and you have acquired one fine gun. I love the trigger and the way it feels in my hand. I sold my G26 because of it.
      Enjoy it safely.

Well was at gun show today and could only find one vendor that had one for sale. The price was $530.00 out the door I wanted to try and keep it under $500.00 so I did not purchase. Got home and started my search online. Came across DEguns.net that had it for $459.99 plus $30.00 shipping gave them a call and they threw in free shipping for me. Done deal. So $459.99 plus $35.00 transfer fee put me at $495.00 . Purchased a M&P 55.6 from them a few years ago . Good co. To answer your question I wanted a Compact 9mm for EDC had to have at least 12 round magazine and fit my hand well and present well. I narrowed it down to S&W 9C, Glock 26,FN9C. Not really a glock guy and S&W pinky extension felt awkward. The FN felt just right and seems to have a good reputation.

Got it today. What a great little gun. Quality is exceptional. Fits my hand perfectly. Can't wait to shoot it on Sunday. Trigger is awesome, light with clean crisp break and short take up.
