the hi-power is the last of the steel framed fn's ....and an awesome gun, its the s/a grand daddy of the cz/tanfoglio line of d/a guns ..... highly recommend them!
Im very familiar with the HP, but I'm confused by the meaning of this statement: It's the single action granddaddy of the CZ/Tanfoglio line of double action guns. Is your meaning that it was the #1 s/a while CZ/T made the #1 d/a guns? I think that's prob it...can you confirm?

I had an FNX-9, and learned that both variants have stainless slides. When I purchased mine, both variants were selling for the same price, now I see that shops are charging a premium for the silver colored slides. Just keep in mind, according to FNH, both slides are made from the same material, just one is left silver and one is made black.
Good luck, I really liked my FNX-9, but I sold it to help pay for an HK P30S.
