      what are they thinking?

i've been saving to get an hk45. a friend told me to consider an fnp45. he has shot both and he said that although the grip is better on the hk, you can't beat the fn for the price. so i read up on it and watched some reviews on youtube. i called up the local fn dealer and he tells me they don't carry fn anymore. i asked why and he said fn, other than the five-seven, they no longer sell to dealers and only use wholesalers so i have to order online and do an ffl transfer. and this gunshop as no fn's to rent. why is fn screwing the civilian market like this? i don't order guns without handling them 1st and im SURE im not the only one. i wonder how many new customers including myself they are going to lose because of this. the only reason i could guess that they would do this is maybe they're bogged down with military orders.

I could obviously be wrong, but i bought an FN from a FN dealer yesterday. I did not go into the shop with the intent to buy so i asked how often and how easy it is to get the firearm i wanted if it was sold, he said he gets new ones every week.

Being you heard it at a gun store... it must be true.

In all my years of shooting/buying guns, I've ever only met one guy that wasn't so full of shit their eyes were brown.

well the reason i took it as actual fact is this gun store is a large hunting and outdoor store with a high volume of firearm sales. and fn was a major brand for them. im going to call another gun store im a regular at and also call cabelas in michigan to see if they have fn. i hope this guy was full of it.
