I love mine, it's probably what I'll use to shoot league this spring.
This is my first post and first FN pistol but I'm frequently on Sig Forum and Glock Talk under the same screen name. I bought the black FNP .45 Bud's had for sale for $509. From the positive comments I read here and other forums I think I picked a winner. I'll post a range report after I shoot it.

Picked up the FNP .45 today. Took it home for a clean and lube then off to the range. No FTF or FTE but a couple of times the side didn't lock open after the last round. No biggie. I'll clean the mags too.
This is the softest shooting, most accurate .45 I've ever owned. It's big but still fits my average sized mitts.
You'd have to be a big guy to carry it! It's about the length and height of a Glock 21 with a little more thickness.
Yeah, it's big, but it can be carried if you're wearing a jacket or untucked shirt. I found that right behind the hip bone is quite comfortable.
no gut jokes please.![]()
Anybody know if the FNP 45 is available NY compliant with 10 round mags?? Yeah, I already know. It sucks here.
Good choice.
when i buy a 45 it is going to be the FNP-45
Does it have to be factory manufactured 10 round mag? I know a friend of mines father had a mossberg 500 shotgun that had a tube capacity of more than was legal. to forgo the law he had a stick behind the follower making it physically impossible to load more round's than whatever the law was. I only remember cause I think it's bat shit crazy to limit a shotgun's mag tube, lol, but was wondering if the same principal could apply to a magazine for a pistol?
