    Does the fnp 9 have a round in the chamber indicator

    I though i was finished deciding what i was going to buy. Went to the gun shop and held the fnp 9, and i am right back to trying to dicide what to buy.now its between the fnp and xd. decisions decisions.

    anyway

    does the fnp 9 have a round in the chamber indicator.

    Extractor: External (protrudes when a round is in the chamber and serves as a loaded chamber indicator as well.)

    Don't let a chamber loaded indicator (or any other "option") be the deciding factor. I have 2 XD's and you know how many times I've used the chamber indicator to actually check to see if my gun is loaded? None. You should never rely on some sort of device to check the status of your gun; you should be checking the chamber physically and visually. So if you're checking your gun properly, it takes the indicator out of the equation, and therefore you can get the gun that feels the best and you shoot the best.
