I have sent a letter to each of my US Senators, one to my Congressional representative and one to my state legislator.
I'd like to keep this simple. If you've written letters to your legislators opposing any new gun control laws, make a short post in this thread saying so. If we as responsible gun owners and members of a gun forum don't become pro-active, we deserve what ever befalls us. God help us if we get very few posts in this thread.
I'll start.
I did.

Sent to Governor and three US Senators. If there is one Senator that can be the driving force( or wedge should I say) it's this man,. No Senator is tougher than this man in defending our second amendment rights. Corresponded with him twice, he was responsible for killing Feinsteins attempt at log rolling the Gun and high cap magazine ban on the tail end of the cyber security bill months back. Shot it down quicker than you can whistle Oklahoma.
You should go to his webpage and see his track record and his take on the second amendment and US Vets. He doesn't play when it comes to the constitution and the 2nd amendment.

Our two feminist, Progressive, kneejerk-Liberal Senators are on the opposite side, and always answer with form-letters that pretend to be substantive but actually tell us that we're wrong.
Writing to either of them is a waste of time.
Our Representative, however, is fairly reasonable and tends to be anti-gun-control for the most part.
I write to him occasionally, or Jean does, but I prefer to talk to him personally when he's visiting his constituency.
In the present case, we will wait for specific legislation to come up, and then we will ask him to oppose it.
Yep!
Yes. Senators and reps.
Yes! All who represent the area I live in. Unfortunately, few of them represent me.
Yes
Senators and Reps on the state and Federal levels
I called a whole bunch
I called everyone
Yep, and the Governor
Yepperinos unfortunately I live in illinois
Addendum:
Our "fairly reasonable" federal Representative, who calls himself "a supporter of the Second Amendment," has just informed me that he will vote to reinstate the "assault weapon" ban, and also to add a "large-capacity magazine" ban.
Jean and I have just informed him that he has lost our votes, and that we will work hard to throw him out of office. (We may not have sufficient "pull" to effect that, but we can try.)
I have sent countless letters to Obama, biden, the speaker of the house, all of my states leg, some of yours at well at least those that I could find a residential address for, the NRA, CGO, and a few others every day for the last year and more so after this whole BS started.
Letters to senators, reps, VP, POTUS, state legislators for my district and governor.
Good for you,and make him aware of any hard work that is being done.. everybody make sure you are registered to vote and actually go out to vote . the politicians have all that information available to them when they are running for re-election.If your elected official does not support our rights or your views and they are a democrat, you might want to register to that same party to vote against that politician in the primary, in some states you have to be registered to that party to vote in a primary. Not quite sure of all the specifics.i'm in a hurry sorry for any typo's.have to get this spell check to work
I wrote one to to my senators and potus ect. Sherrod Brown responded(in another post I put the response from him).
I think we have enough "Gun Laws" let "them" know what we think.
Ruger is doing a great service, very easy.....
Ruger - Take Action Now!
I have written to all my reps.
I have. And I received a response saying he received my letter and that he was too busy during his lame duck session to spend much effort on it.
Didn't surprise me tho...
Used the Ruger site.
My rep will oppose any gun control laws, one of the Senators may oppose it, the other will vote for whatever Obama wants.
i have, just got a letter back today from one of my reps.... which is a 2nd adm supporter.... but i still had to shake my head.... they dont have to use postage... no wonder the post office and country is broke
Wrote to the Gov. and used the Ruger letter. Got a form letter from the Governor thanking me for my participation in our state.
Then he screwed us over with his gun law. He is a jerk.
Be safe, Frank.
