I've been a member for the last 20 years or so, but I had let my membership lapse periodically, just renewed for 3 years for 85 bucks or so.

Actually, I do not? Do you request it, or is it automatic? Sounds like a very good thing to have, for sure.

    Nope

I'm not going to say that I shouldn't join, I probably should. However, I do not see it as being a necessary part of being a gun owner. Thats built into the constitution...

I fully support the NRA, just as a college kid, paying their membership doesn't work for me right now, eventually I see myself becoming a part of it.

I'm not a member, but I do plan to become one at some point in time.

Jake, it isn't really a constitutional issue. It's a political-force issue. As in: "We have four million voters behind us. Do you really want to make a law like that?"

I'll make a deal with you: Join the NRA, and I'll send you a check that'll pay you back for your expenditure. All you need do is send me a Xerox copy of your membership card.
If you are interested, PM me and we'll exchange addresses.

The $300 sponsored Life Membership is back in play.

Call 800-672-3888 select option 3, then give your sponsors membership# , then your current NRA number and credit card number.... takes about 2 minutes.

I'm a Life Member. I will be glad to act as a sponsor, just PM me.

You have to pay for it......I am looking for a legit company to insure myself for liabilty insurance.....my current insurance co. , at this time, feels that NO shooting is justified.
