    concerns?

Anyone have concerns on what may happen from what the @#%^&&*$ did in Az? I heard but havent seen anything yet that theyre gonna make it even worse to get guns cause of jerks doing stuff like that. Why is it easier to mess with good people than deal with the bad. Like anything will stop bad people from getting guns , just like drugs.

Look at the Carolyn McCarthy thread. I'm sure there will be more.

    Yes & no.

The gun haters will jump on that as a reason to take our guns.

But NRA & others will fight them.

Better support NRA if you aren't already

This is already proven but this is what will happen. The left will blame the right because we promote violence against the left. The left will also place huge blame on liberal gun laws in AZ and elsewhere. The right will blame vague circumstances not related to politics. Obama will attend a memorial service, appropriate tears will be shed, but in reality it will be the inaugural stop on the "Obama/Biden Road To the White House in 2012 Campaign".

Oh, for some inexplicable reason, Arizona will cheer him and welcome him like a god in spite of the fact that they were sued and screwed by the federal gov't twice last year.

Be aware of the NRA. They have become very political and some of it not good. I will continue to pay dues, but not a dime for anything else. Check out Gun Owners Of America. good stuff

Oh yes, the GOA was part of the hype about a magazine ban being inserted into the FAA bill last week that turned out to be a bogus claim. I refuse to spend a penny to support a group that uses slamming the NRA as their prime recruiting tool.

Funny, I have yet to see the NRA slam the GOA to gain members. Why is that?

The NRA has stated more times than I can remember they are a ONE ISSUE ORGANIZATION.

They don't care what party a politician is from, if he scores well on his gun voting record he gets the nod. While it's easy to say the left wing bedwetting obama lovers are all gun haters it's just not true. You have to do your homework! Or, join the NRA and let them do it for you. The free admission to the convention's gun show alone is worth the price. Absolutely electric atmosphere.
