    Why is this even a news topic?

    IMO, this implies partial blame to the dealer.

    We don't see stories showing that Person A who saved lives in a self-defense shooting purchased their guns/accessories from the same dealer as Person B, who also saved lives in a self-defense shooting.

    They got to show that the legal system is letting us down allowing these bad people to peddle death to any whack job wit ha credit card. It makes their point nad gets people watching the news. A win-win for the MSM

    This guy told his mother what he was going to do and she did nothing? Who is guilty HERE?

    He had a blog also that he gave his plans of murder.

    So why pick on the guy who sold the weapons - did anyone consider chastising the mother and the bloggers for not taking this guy serious and at least report it as suspicious?

    I understand the "newsworthy" connection with the Virginia Tech gunshop, but what "accessories" did he buy? The bigger question is did he purchase the firearms legally?
