    Expired Permit Help

    123
    Hello Everyone,

Ive searched for information on what needs to be done if my permit is over 90 days expired which has yielded no results. I am reaching out to anyone who would know if there is anythign i can do to reinstate my permit or do I really need to start over as if i never had a permit. Any help would be greatly apperciated.

    Derek M.

P.S Sorry if this has been answered before as i am new to this forums.

Every state is different. You should contact your home state's Department of Public Safety or whichever agency handles concealed weapons permits.

Ditto the suggestion about contacting the issuing office. Those are the people who will be most knowledgeable about your situation. In addition, they have no interest in creating more problems than you already have.

The issuing authority will either answer yes, or no, and what have you lost? If you are, in fact, outside the grace period, they will tell you.

Go ask! Answers from the internet are worth exactly what you pay for them!
