Problems with Thunder 9 UC accuracy
I have a new Thunder 9mm UC, and I really like the feel and style of this gun... I like how easy it is to break down and clean, how mild the recoil is.. in short, I really want to love this gun. But I'm having accuracy issues right out of the box, and I have shot about 500 rounds by now. It consistently shoots low. I thought it was my inability at fault, so yesterday at the range I rented a Ruger SR9, a Kahr K9, a Glock 26, and even a Bersa 380. I was dead on target with all of them at 10 yards, and then I went back to my Thunder 9 and shot low again. Sure, I could just aim high to compensate, but I don't want to have to do that. The sights on the Thunder 9 are fixed, right? Any suggestions, ideas???
Love everything but the rear sight
I experienced the same thing. I love my Thunder 9 UC, but I can't seem to attain near the same degree of accuracy as I have with my Ruger P95 or XD40sc. I don't like the sights on my Bersa (it has the U rear sight) and I much prefer the 3 dot sights on the other two. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any after market sights for the Bersa Thunder 9 UC. I thought about buying another rear sight from bersa ($5) and painting my old one flat black and making a 3 dot out of it. Anyone have any other ideas or found alternative sights (night sites, fiber optics, or anything)? Thanks.
