Anyone Who Wants Them

I keep seeing the same phrase pop up a lot in anti-gun writings and speaches, and I was wondering what people thought of the line. I just thought of it because it happens to have popped up again in a book I am reading.

"...small pistols and rifles that the National Rifle Association guarantees will be available to anyone who wants them,..."

Did I miss the memo from the NRA that stated they were all for ex-felons owning handguns? Because I never heard any guarantee that anyone who wants handguns/rifles/shotguns will be able to get them, so help the NRA.

Your right, that phrase comes up a lot is stuff I read as well. It is just another shining example of how the media ( a.k.a. Libs ) tweek the wording in their stories to try and make people see things their way. It works sometimes too.:smt011

It's another catch phrase and mantra of the anti-gun crowd, just like the "blood in the streets" mantra against CCW/CHL/ Carry permits
