The grips cost $38.00... not to bad....

I love'em... They feel great and make the gun look great as well.

They should. They are listed under the general 8000 series on the site.

js, the grips look great. wood always adds a nice touch.

superpelly, these will not fit an 8045... it is a slightly larger grip panel. 8000's and 8040 will interchange, but the 8045 is different. The only woods that I have run across are the ones that Hogue makes.

My cougar is becoming my "main" firearm. I'm carrying it everyday and getting alot of firetime at the range with it. My 92 does better as for as longer distances, but the cougar does just as well at 15 to 20 feet. I figure that if, god forbid, I have to use for self defense... It will be well under 15 to 20 feet and should protect me with no problems.

oh, I also "unblued" the barrel... :-)
